Black Bean Burger

Yield: 35 -40 burgers


Ingredients

  • 8-10 large cloves garlic

  • 2 ea yellow onion, minced

  • 4 T mushroom powder, porcini (optional)

  • 4 T jalapeno, minced

  • 1 T cumin

  • 1 T paprika

  • 2 tsp coriander

  • 10 lbs black beans, cooked

  • 6 cups quinoa, cooked

  • ¼ cup tamari


Instructions

Saute/sweat aromatics (first seven ingredients). Mix with beans and quinoa.

Place half of the mixture in a food processor and pulse for 30 seconds. Repeat for

second half of mixture. Remix together and check for salt (tamari). Form patties

and chill.
