Braised Lotus Root

Ingredients

  • 2 Tablespoons Rice Wine Vinegar

  • 4 Tablespoons of Soy Sauce

  • 2 Tablespoons of Sugar

  • 1 Tablespoon of oil

  • 2 Tablespoons of Honey

  • 1/2 Tablespoon of Sesame Oil

  • 1/2 Tablespoon of sesame Seed

Instructions

  • Peel and Slice Into 1/4 inch pieces

  • Cover with Water and a splash of vinegar

  • Boil for 10 mins

  • Darin and Rinse

  • Return to Pot with 1 cup of water, soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, sugar, and oil

  • Boil until sauce is reduced to a syrup then add honey, sesame oil, and sesame seeds
