Char Siu

Ingredients:

  • 30 lbs. pork tenderloins or boneless skinless chicken thighs

  • 6 cups soy sauce

  • 4 cups honey

  • 4 cups ketchup

  • 4 cups brown sugar

  • 1 1/2 cups hoisin sauce

  • 1 1/2 cups red food coloring

  • 1/4 cup Chinese five spice


Instructions:

  1. Combine all ingredients.

  2. Marinate overnight.

  3. Cook over direct heat on bbq grill or roast at high temp., 450 degrees.

  4. Serve with rice, in chow mein or fried rice.
