Hazelnut Blondies

This is a recipe by Chef Elijah Gentry.


Serves 35, Prep Time 15 minutes, Total Time 45 minutes

Ingredients:

2 cups butter

6 cups light brown sugar

8 eggs

3 tsp. salt

2.5 tbsp. baking powder

11 cups hazelnut flour

1 cup chocolate hazelnut butter

2 dashes cinnamon

2 dashes nutmeg

2 tsp. maple extract


Instructions:

Heat oven to 350 degrees.

Sift together dry ingredients.

In a separate bowl beat together butter and sugar until smooth.

Beat in 1 egg at a time until smooth.

Add dry ingredients and mix until incorporated.

Mix in extract and chocolate hazelnut butter.

Spread batter into sheet tray and bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
