This pasta dish throws an interesting twist by subbing meatballs for spicy rice balls.

Ingredients
3 lb. uncooked spaghetti
16 cups cooked rice
8 cups quick oats
3 med. onions, chopped
4 cups bread crumbs
4 cups milk
2 bunches basil, chopped
1 bunch oregano, chopped
2 tsp. cayenne pepper
8 eggs, beaten
4 cups wheat germ
1/2 cup olive oil
1 gallon pasta sauce
salt and pepper to taste
Parmesan cheese
Instructions
1. Cook and drain spaghetti.
2. Meanwhile, in a large bowl, mix rice, oats, onion, bread crumbs, milk, basil, oregano, cayenne pepper, salt, pepper, and egg.Shape into balls; roll in wheat germ to coat. (Bread crumbs can be substituted here)
3. Brown the rice balls in a pan over medium heat, or in the oven, until golden brown.
4. Heat pasta sauce until hot. Add in rice balls and cooked spaghetti. If desired, sprinkle with parmesan cheese. Serve immediately.
